ChaCha

The sweetest chow came wandered into a lady’s yard 4 months ago and has never left.  Not having had any experience with chows until then, she did a crash course reading on Chows to get to know them a little better.  She named the Chow ChaCha. It started out as Chow Chow, but morphed into ChaCha.  He is extremely shy and timid even after 4 months.  However, over the months she has gained his trust, worked on his confidence, and got him used to a collar and walking on a leash.  She has 4 dogs and uses an invisible fencing, hence a new problem.  Her neighbor is unhappy about her having the extra dog.  So, that Saturday morning she had no choice but to take him to her Vet to be boarded.  He is now current on all vaccinations, and is scheduled to be neutered Aug. 1st.  If she had a physical fence around her yard, she would not give him up as he is the greatest; you can even put your hand in his food bowl while he eats and he carefully backs away.  He is super quiet around small children; just follows them around.  She cannot board him for long as it is too and she can’t afford it.  No rescues around here her area can take him and she refuses to take him to the shelter.  If you think you may have space in your home and heart, please contact his benefactor, Cheri, at
