Chyna

"Don't let my name 'Chyna' fool you. I am not a wrestler. In fact, I don't even bark! I am calm, play wonderfully with other doggies, and have absolutely perfect house manners. In fact, my foster mommy will tell you that my only bad habit is that I sometimes snore (but, I'm very cute when I do it). My stats: female, 45-50 lbs., 3-5 years old, spayed, and will be UTD on all shots.
I just need someone who sees my potential. You see, after being a stray and in the shelter for soooo long, my coat is pretty bad. I'm on the mend, though. I'll soon be as pretty on the outside as on the inside. With some TLC and patience, I'll be your teddy bear!"
When she was found in April, her hair was so matted she had to be shaved to remove maggots and she had to be treated for a respiratory infection. She still has bald spots from the stress of being in the shelter and the hair she does have will have to be cut again because it is so matted. She has a beautiful face and wonderful disposition. She is calm, doesn't bark (by design or human intervention I'm not sure) and she plays wonderfully with the foster care giver's other dogs. She just needs someone who will see her potential and will give her some TLC while she's recovering. Contact info: Chesterfield County Humane Society, Nancy, 803-320-4871
