Dolly had belonged to a military family that found they were being transferred to a place they could not take her. So, they let a gentleman who did all breed rescue take her in. He kept her for a couple of years before utlimately releasing her to Chow Rescue for placement.

The mother of one of our adoptive families went with her daughter to pick Dolly up and brought her to our adoption day. She took Dolly home with her as her foster. She already had 3 Chows of her own and Dolly fit in just fine. Ultimately, Dolly became one of the family and remained permanently with her foster family as their newly adopted fur child.
