Freya was a very sweet senior Chow whose owners decided that they could no longer keep her as they had children now and could not manage walking her and pushing the stroller, as well as holding on to the other child. So they wanted to find someone to take her.

One of the families that had adopted a Chow from us before was helping out from time to time fostering rescues for us. They decided that they would take Freya in. Finally they decided to keep Freya as she was so very sweet and they'd fallen in love with her. But, as we said, Freya was a senior Chow when they took her in. One day Freya left them for the Rainbow Bridge. But before she left this world, she knew that she was well loved by her new family and has left a big hole where she once was.
