The young lady loved their Nubbs dearly and cried when they finally got ready to return to their home in NC. But before they left, they asked that if we were not able to find Nubbs a home to please call them. They would drive back up to fetch him and take him back. We told them that if they felt they just could not part with him, maybe they should return home with him. But the young lady said that she loved him so very much and knew that they were doing what was right for him. So they hugged and kissed their Nubbs goodbye and watched as the pup and I returned to the store.

Harry and his new brother Sam 4/8/00

In August, a young couple fell in love with Nubbs and decided to adopt him. They were not the least bit concerned about his club foot that had kept many others from wanting to adopt him. Nubbs was to become a companion to their dog Sam. Not long after adopting him, they decided to call him Harry. Our beautiful little boy not only gained Sam, mom, and dad as his new family, but also a feline family. Harry is a very friendly, well socialized, happy baby who now lives in Washington, D.C. and is a very well known member of his neighborhood.

Princess 2000

November 2000 Harry gained a new sister named Princess. She was rescued with a litter of pups and once they were all weaned and ready for adoption, Princess was ready to find a new home as well. Harry's mom and dad saw Princess, fell in love with her just as they had him and decided she would make a great addition to the family.

2005: Harry's Mom and Dad had a new addition to the family. His name is Drew and Harry thinks he's pretty kewl!
