Katie

 

 

Due to a death of his female owner, Katie is available for adoption.  She is a 6 year old, sweet natured, calm girl, who loves to give big kisses.  She is used to being on a farm with other dogs, goats, geese, ducks and other fowl, as well as, cats. With several other dogs on the farm, she did not run free.  She will bark to let you know when strangers approach.   Katie is currently chained, but would love to have a yard to relax in safely.  Katie deserves to join a family for a continued quite, calm, loving home to call her own.   She is Tawny’s mother.

 

(Last year Katie was traumatized by a different male caretaker, while her owner was hospitalized.  She was surrounded by constant chaos, the firing of guns, and loud booming voices. Recently, during a medical emergency, Katie was sprayed with mace, because they thought she was too close to the entrance. Her eyes are fine, after flushing the mace away.  Her shots were given by her owner, bought through Southern States).
