Lebowski

Lebowski is an older,
but very healthy, chow mix boy between 10-13 years old, adopted from an Athens,
GA shelter in May. He has been vaccinated, microchipped,
treated successfully for heartworm disease, and neutered. His adoptive mom also
has many rescue cats that he is usually fine with. Lebowski has some food
guarding issues, and unfortunately, he recently bit one of the cats that got
too close to his bowl. Regretfully, his mom feels that she needs to rehome him. She would never take
him back to the kill shelter that he came from as at his age, he wouldn’t stand
a chance of survival. All his mom wants is to place him in a good home.

Bowski is a very sweet, smart, loving dog who has
had a tough time. He adores living with his adoptive mom, and she adores him.
In true chow fashion, he is her shadow all day. She just can't compromise any
of the cats' safety and sanity. (The
cat, BTW, is just fine, didn’t get hurt.)
He has a few other triggers: he hates to be combed, and he is very
grumpy late at night.

The pictures show
Lebowski growing out his summer haircut, but he doesn't have a huge chow
coat. He has an odd brindle pattern,
very pretty actually…who knows where *that* came from.
