Precious

(we don’t have any pictures of her as yet)

6/4/06:  A beautiful, young, spayed, purebred chow named Precious has been in a boarding kennel that is part of an animal hospital in Tempe, AZ for months, and she is going to be euthanized soon (sometime early this month), for the unforgivable crime of being abandoned by her owner. She loves to cuddle, give kisses, and play fetch. She is sweet, cheerful, and an easy keeper.

The management there seems to think that she has a bad temperament because she can be head shy, and she got snappish when they tried to bathe her. They don't understand that some dogs don't board well. She has done better than most dogs, in the opinion of one of their workers, especially considering the length of time she's been living in a kennel. The person strongly feels that if Precious could find an owner with chow experience, she would be the best chow they ever had.

There is no Chow rescue in Arizona, nor is there even a breed club there. It would break the worker’s heart to see Precious' life end unfairly. If you can help her at all, please contact her angel at neezerbean@hotmail.com immediately, as Precious doesn’t have much time.
